Bisons Scout Troop

We are pleased to announce that we will be re-opening a second Scout Troop, the Bisons.

This will open after February half term (23rd February 2024) and will be on Wednesday evenings 7:15 to 8:45

Nicki, the Assistant Scout Leader from Bears, will become the new Scout Leader for the Bisons.

We will be asking all parents for the Bisons to donate a night to help Nicki so there will be a parent rota set up. If all parents commit then we will suceed.

There may be some Scouts that are in the Bears for which Wednesday suits them better. If this is the case then please let Becca and Nicki know and we can transfer you to Bisons.

There seems to be some confusion regarding our projectors and the AV system.

To summarise, we have the following:

Hitachi CP-X327 Projector

  • VGA input
  • Carrying bag with power lead, VGA lead.

Epson EB-965H Projector

  • VGA Input (no sound)
  • HDMI Input (with sound)
  • USB Input (with sound) – for almost any Windows/MAC laptop, drivers on projector
  • Audio Output to Screen Speakers
  • Remote Control
  • Carrying bag with power lead, HDMI lead, USB lead, VGA lead.

Samsung Blu-Ray Player

  • HDMI Output
  • Carrying bag with HDMI lead.

Screen/Speakers

  • 2400×1200 Screen
  • Stereo Speakers (amplifier in QM store)
  • Adaptors for Phono and 3.5mm jack connections

Projector Stand

  • Shelf for projector
  • Shelf for Blu-Ray player or small laptop
  • Long Power Lead with two sockets and audio cables, HDMI Lead.
